We only use skincare with a botanical ethos. Botanicals bathe the body with healing herbs that deliver all the nutritional elements to support the skin’s natural ability to thrive and heal the skin. The owner, Donica Johns, “Natural Mixologist” also has a selection of professional skincare products made with natural and organic ingredients.

Our Restorative Massage is tailored to your exact needs and pressure preference. The Restorative Massage blends Swedish, Stretching, Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Aromatherapy massage. After your Restorative Massage, the goal is for your body to move comfortably, with reduced pain and soreness and for your mind to be at ease.

The Artist
At BOTANICAL NAIL AND SKIN STUDIO we feature artwork from NOLA's premier painter and muralist native, Jessica "Jhand Paints "Strahan. Jessica is a self-taught artist. She creates portraits that amplify the African influence on New Orleans culture, from the city's neighborhood cultural practices to its shot-gun architecture and culinary traditions to its residents' facial features and hair stylings. Her paintings play in the parallels and dissonance between the past and the present to create windows into imagined futures. They investigate the meaning of home for people who carry both the ancestral memory and lived experience of mass displacement – due to enslavement and Hurricane Katrina.
Her paintings have been exhibited, collected, and published nationally, and her murals color neighborhoods throughout New Orleans.
